Caleb Bonemer commemorated the Fourth of July with his best Double-A game yet.
Granted, he was only 16 games into his Barons career, so it had to do more with the sample size than a sense of American history, but Bonemer notched his first three-hit game and two-homer game with the Barons.

... then added a second homer on a front-door cutter that he smoked over the left field wall.

He mixed in a solid single to center in between. All in all, he raised his line from .255/.359/.345 to .283/.377/.467, which is a pretty good spot to be for a 20-year-old in Double-A.

- Rikuu Nishida was 0-for-4 with two walks and two strikeouts.
