Billy Carlson made an appearance with the ACL White Sox on Friday, playing shortstop and going 0-for-3 in his return from a non-displaced fracture in the tip of his left thumb. The forecast was four to six weeks when they announced it back on May 26, and he ended up coming back in seven.
