Good morning!
Lost in the mix of Tuesday night's nutty win over the Twins was a particular double by Jose Abreu. The first baseman's first inning two-bagger that scored Tim Anderson to give the Sox a 1-0 lead also happened to be the 250th double of his MLB career. It also moved him out of tie for ninth place and he has a real shot to continue moving up in this season alone. A tie for sixth place all-time isn't far away at 266, though we'll all have to wait and see if he can ever get to fifth place, which is a lofty 320 doubles.
At any rate, today's Sporcle will celebrate Abreu's accomplishment: of the 35 players to record at least 150 doubles over their career with the White Sox, how many can you name? Good luck!
