*Braden Holcomb was promoted to Winston-Salem, taking the place of Derek Cerda, who was placed on the 7-day IL. Holcomb, the hulking Vanderbilt outfielder drafted in the 12th round back in July, hit .333/.439/.667 over 57 plate appearances with Kannapolis.
*Tyler Gilbert cleared waivers and was outrighted to Charlotte, so there's no need to close the book on the White Sox's half of the Aaron Combs trade. Rest easy.
