Sporcle Saturday: 20+ Hrs since 1990

Good morning!

Entering this season, I thought we'd have a variety of new (and old) names to log in to the ol' scorebook of White Sox batters to hit 20 or more home runs in a season. Well, uh, don't look at the home run leaders for the team, nor listen to Josh and Jim on the podcasts. As fans, we're currently looking at just two guys to cross that 20 dinger threshold for the season, a far cry from what was anticipated.

So, let's think on better times (and, definitely, some lesser): who has hit at least 20 home runs in a season for the White Sox since 1990? That's 97 entries: how many can you get? Good luck!

Quiz Parameters

    • I've allotted 10 minutes for completion attempts.
    • For hints, I've provided the number of home runs, and ordered names chronologically.

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:

    • 6 players in a season is the high-water mark for the Sox: in addition to 2008, the 2004 team also had six players hit at least 20 home runs (and nearly seven, as Frank Thomas was just two away).
    • The first player to ever hit 20 home runs in a season for the White Sox was Carl Reynolds with 22, back in 1930.
    • The Sox actually have just 149 instances where a player has logged 20 home runs in a season.
