In the not-too-distant past before the industrialization of agriculture, this time of year was often the most difficult for families. While the weather allowed for spring planting, winter stores were running low and food had to be stretched in order to make it to the first seasonal harvest.
Known as the "hungry gap", this serious concept can also be applied to the more frivolous arena of Sporcle Saturday. Spring Training usually offers little tie-in value theme-wise, so the six-ish weeks leading up to Opening Day are reserved for examining past Opening Day rosters. It helps get everybody excited for the season, and once the games start, I've got baseball content aplenty to bring you new Sporcles.
This is all a long way of saying that despite Opening Day in delay, the Opening Day roster Sporcles will continue as though the season were still beginning on March 26. From there, the Sporcles will be a bit less themed: I've got plenty of ideas, they probably just won't tie-in with anything current. As always, if there's something you want to see, throw 'em into the comments below.

With that preamble out of the way, this week we'll be taking a look at the outfielders on Opening Day lineup cards. Who has started in left, center, and right? There are 150 names: how many can you get? Good luck!

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- No player has started more than 8 times in an outfield position on Opening Day.
- That same player, does, however, hold the record for most consecutive Opening Day starts. (Right field, 1980-1987)
