With the big-league club struggling, NBC Sports Chicago is turning to one of the White Sox' most exciting affiliates to try to draw eyeballs.

It's a great platform for Joe Weil and Jake Eisenberg, both of whom do a great job calling games for MiLB.tv.

    • Charlie Tilson went 2-for-4.
    • Jose Rondon, 1-for-4 with a strikeout. He was caught stealing.

Birmingham 12, Montgomery 11

    • Zack Collins went 2-for-4 with an HBP.
    • Eloy Jimenez was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and a sac fly.
    • Seby Zavala busted out of his slump, going 3-for-4 with a double and a walk.
    • Matt Rose, 0-for-2 with three walks and a strikeout.
    • Trey Michalczewski went 3-for-5 with a triple and a walk-off bases-clearing double.
    • Jameson Fisher went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
    • Danny Mendick, 1-for-4 with a double.
    • Ryan Burr: 1 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 0 K
    • Ian Hamilton: 1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
