With their signings made official on Thursday, 20 of the 21 White Sox draft picks taken earlier this week are officially White Sox prospects, but that step wasn't necessary for Baseball America to begin slotting the recently selected players into its revised top 100 prospects list.

As you might expect from a No. 1 overall pick, Roch Cholowsky leads the way for the White Sox, but it might be a little surprising to see him make his debut at No. 5 overall. For context, second-overall pick Grady Emerson slots in at No. 12, and No. 3 pick Vahn Lackey at No. 26.

Obviously Cholowsky tops the White Sox's org list as well, and that will be further subject to change. He's followed by Braden Montgomery at No. 24, but he's about a week's worth of games from losing his eligibility, joining the recently graduated Noah Schultz.

Otherwise, Caleb Bonemer is the only other White Sox top-100 prospect at No. 29. Tanner McDougal, Hagen Smith and Billy Carlson opened the season on some such rankings, but they haven't been able to reclaim their previous standing due to injury. At least Carlson is back to being fully operational in Kannapolis.
