Trevor Richards was activated from the family medical emergency/bereavement leave list, and Tyler Davis was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte during the All-Star break.
Austin Hays begins a Triple-A rehab assignment Friday night for his left calf strain.
Everson Pereira (concussion) and--that's right--Drew Thorpe (TJ recovery, appendicitis), will begin rehab assignments in the ACL on Saturday.
Last year's first-round pick Billy Carlson has been activated off the injured list at Low-A Kannapolis, and will play for the Cannon Ballers for the first time since breaking the tip of his left thumb on May 23. He played three rehab games in the ACL prior to activation.
