The adverse weather that resulted in four postponements at the major league level also affected its share of minor league games. Kannapolis' game was scratched while Charlotte and Winston-Salem had theirs shortened.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 4, Charlotte 3 (5½ innings, rain)

    • Charlie Tilson hiked his average over .211 with a 2-for-3 day, and also stole his third base.
    • Ryan Cordell, conversely, was 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.
    • Daniel Palka walked once and struck out once.

Birmingham 2, Montgomery 1 (Game 1, 7 innings)

    • Tito Polo and Jameson Fisher were both 0-for-3.
    • Zack Collins was 1-for-3 with his first homer.
    • Seby Zavala was 1-for-3 without the homer.
    • Ian Clarkin went the distance: 7 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K

Montgomery 9, Birmingham 2 (Game 2, 7 innings)

    • Tito Polo was 1-for-3 withi a strikeout.
    • Jameson Fisher singled, walked and struck out.
    • Zack Collins went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout.

Carolina 6, Winston-Salem 2 (7½ innings, rain)

    • Luis Alexander Basabe cooled off, going 0-for-4.
    • Blake Rutherford went 1-for-3 with a walk and two steals.
    • Alex Call was 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts.
    • Gavin Sheets, 1-for-3 with a double.
    • Micker Adolfo had another big game, going 2-for-3 with a homer and a double.
    • Ti'Quan Forbes was 0-for-3.
    • Jimmy Lambert: 5.1 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 6 K. 3 WP
