Good morning!
It's been a rough go of it for the White Sox lately, what with the offense sputtering in a sweep at home by the Pirates. So, no offensively-oriented Sporcle this week as there hasn't been very much to celebrate about since Sunday's victory over the Twins.
On the pitching side, however, something which I found interesting is the innings total that Sean Newcomb is approaching. Entering Friday evening's game against the Cardinals, Newcomb has 83 innings pitched as a reliever. It's not unreasonable to think he might be able to log 17 more innings to reach 100 total on the season: if he were to do so, he'd mark the first back-to-back seasons with at least one White Sox reliever logging 100+ innings since the 1998 and 1999 seasons!
So, today's theme: other White Sox relievers to log at least 100 innings over the course of a single season. As it turns out, there have been 46 such instances in White Sox franchise history: how many can you name? Good luck!

- The best ERA of the pitchers on this list is 1.81, in 1965.
- The most games logged by a pitcher on this list is 88, coming in 1968.
- Other relievers across MLB to log 100 innings in relief: technically, Chad Patrick is at 100 IP even, though he's had multiple starts where he went several innings, so it feels a bit like cheating. AJ Blubaugh for Houston, however, is at 89 IP, and every single one of his appearances has come in relief.
