--Sam Antonacci finished second in voting to Toronto's Kazuma Okamoto for American League rookie of the month for June.
--Miguel Vargas recently have a very Miguel Vargas-branded response to a question on how he's handling the workload of playing pretty much every game this season. He's played 85 of 86 so far.
"Just trying to be consistent with my workout, my preparation," Vargas said. "I have been learning a lot from previous years and just trying to be consistent every day and give myself and my body the best opportunity every night and every day to be the best version of me every day."
