The good news about a rocky small sample is that it's a small sample, and one or two big games can overwrite it.
Caleb Bonemer is the latest example, as he's now hitting .293/.396/.415 over his brief Double-A career after going 4-for-5 with two doubles and his first Birmingham homer, which happened to be a grand slam.

While Bonemer detonated a hanging slider there, he also came a foot or two shy of his first Double-A homer earlier in the game, doubling high off the left field wall on 94 mph.
If it looks like nobody was there to see it, that's because a triple-digit heat index had everybody who was in attendance opting for shade.

Watching Mitchell's inside-the-park homer a dozen years ago, he happened to take advantage of the overzealousness of an obscure center fielder by the name of Mookie Betts. I wonder whatever happened to him.
