After a two-month absence, Kyle Teel opened his rehab stint in Charlotte Tuesday night with a bang.
OK, he technically opened his rehab stint with a tapper to third, but in his second plate appearance, he turned around a 93 mph and launched it 110.8 mph out to Mint Street behind the right field wall.

He lined out and grounded out in his other two plate appearances before he was replaced defensively in the top of the sixth, which he said was the plan for his first game when he spoke to reporters on Sunday. If that plan holds, he'll DH tonight.
