Good morning!
Entering Friday evening's game against the Yankees, Colson Montgomery has hit a home run in four consecutive games. He's just the third White Sox player to accomplish such a feat in the past 12 seasons. Baseball Reference already has Montgomery at an even 2 WAR, and, despite a 27% strikeout rate and an OBP that starts with a 2, still has an OPS+ of 127. I think we'll all take that given his struggles in the minors!
Today's Sporcle looks back at the other Sox batters who have gone deep in at least four consecutive games: in all, there are 30 player-seasons. How many can you name? Good luck!
