Caleb Freeman

With Andrew Vaughn out of the White Sox organization, the number of potential contributors from the 2019 draft class is down to two:

No. 1: 15th-round pick Caleb Freeman, who made his MLB debut this season and didn't distinguish himself one way or another in five low-leverage appearances over the course of two stints.

No. 2: Second-round pick Andrew Dalquist, who has a 1.21 ERA in his second attempt at Birmingham, albeit with peripherals that don't suggest a whole lot of sustainability (29.2 IP, 19 H, 3 HR, 13 BB, 28 K, 1 HBP).

As for players in other orgs, the only players in position to make a major league dent this season are McKinley Moore (14th round), Sammy Peralta (18th round) and Declan Cronin (36th round), all of whom are hanging around Triple-A. As a whole, Peralta is the White Sox draft class' WAR leader at 0.2, and overall, it's running a deficit of -0.5 WAR.
