Birmingham's game against the Columbus Clingstones -- formerly the Mississippi Braves -- didn't get started until 9 p.m. due to rain, so if the game ever had time to get on the rails, it was thrown off it pretty quickly
Three developments of note:
No. 1: William Bergolla nearly hit his first homer as a member of the White Sox organization, but it merely hit off the top of the right field wall and back into play for a double. He's stuck at one homer over 195 professional games.
No. 2: Ryan Galanie hitting a three-run shot that may or may not have been fair, around the left-field foul pole, which prompted the ejection of Columbus' manager.
Ryan Galanie hit a 2-run home run, and the Barons go on to get the 4-1 win over the Clingstones.

No. 3: Michael Turner following Galanie by seeing Jorge Juan's first-pitch fastball fly behind him. Juan gives the game away by dropping his glove as Turner walks toward the mound, and he gets ejected after benches clear.
Upon resumption of play Michael Turner comes up. The unhappy pitcher throws behind Michael. Benches empty. Pitcher gets launched. Thanks to the Clingstones for going to their matchup screen. Greatly appreciated. Certainly wouldn't want to see that. #Barons take this one 4-1. pic.twitter.com/GyqFKmV6lg
