Good morning, White Sox fans. Here's the rundown for my final Wake-Up Call of the season:

LAST NIGHT: Early heroics from Eloy Jiménez were wiped out by 14 unanswered Arizona runs in the White Sox's 15-4 loss to the Diamondbacks, which justified Chris Getz's hesitation to say the White Sox had big plans for 2024. Also, Luis Robert Jr. is done for the year.

TODAY: Luis Patiño leads a bullpen game against Brandon Pfaadt in a day game where fans had to pay retail prices. Thursday could be different.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: The Cubs collapse in spectacular fashion, the Phillies and Brewers clinch, the AL Wild Card race remains jumbled, and the baseball world says goodbye to Brooks Robinson.
