28 pitches for Lorenzen through 3. Sox hitters have the worst /no gameplan ever. Constant protect mode. If it’s near the zone, it’s go time
And here we go with walks and the inability to throw strikes.
Well we lead 75-28 in pitches thrown. If we can figure out how to do that in runs scored, the run differential deficit would be a thing of the past.

I said it yesterday- after watching Lorenzen dominate the Sox the last two outings, he will be Hahn’s biggest free agent acquisition of the offseason.
He doesn’t walk people. I’d trade Giolito for him right now

Lange didn’t throw strikes last time and he got an easy 1-2-3 inning… Beni had a different approach: swing only to strikes
Robert didn’t read the memo. Got K’ed with balls outside of the strike zone. One was almost a one hop grounder
Luis is definitely the Sox’ best player. I feel like the majority of team’s best players simply give you a better at-bat in that spot.
I don’t think Robert has had a single good at bat in 3 weeks
He chases a lot. But his chase rate this year is right in line with Julio, Bichette, Arenado, Trea Turner, etc.
The one eloy struck out was nasty but luis is trying to get them on the second hop.
Our 3-4-5 hitters, the “core” of this rebuild- 0-12 with 6 strikeouts. At least they won’t be coming up in the 10th.

I think the scorer may change that last one to a passed ball. I think most catchers don’t let that pitch get past.

Love the stupid game comment! I’ll tell you something stupider. Why in the world didn’t Gonzalez start? Playing well at the plate and playing well in the field. Hustling on every play.
