Here's how the fifth week of the season worked out for the White Sox's four full-season minor-league affiliates:

Charlotte: Split the series with Nashville 3-3, winning the last three.

Birmingham: Took four of five against Tennessee around two games postponed by rain.

Winston-Salem: Continued to gravitate toward .500 by splitting six games with Greensboro.

Kannapolis: Doubled its win total by going 2-4 against Fayetteville.

Charlotte 3, Nashville 2 (6½ innings, rain)

    • Luis González went 0-for-3 with a walk.
    • Blake Rutherford was 0-for-3.
    • Jake Burger went 1-for-2 with a walk.
    • Gavin Sheets went 2-for-3 with his fifth homer.
    • Jimmy Lambert: 4.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 7 K

Greensboro 7, Winston-Salem 6

    • Duke Ellis went 1-for-4 with a sac fly, strikeout and stolen base.
    • Luis Curbelo was 1-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts.
    • Lenyn Sosa was 1-or-4 with a triple and a strikeout.
    • Yolbert Sanchez went 3-for-5 with a double.
    • Davis Martin: 4 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 2 WP

Fayetteville 6, Kannapolis 0

    • José Rodriguez went 0-for-4 with a K.
    • Chase Krogman walked once and struck out thrice.
    • Luis Mieses was 0-for-4.
    • Bryan Ramos went 1-for-4 with a double.
    • Harvin Mendoza was 0-for-4 with a K.
    • Lency Delgado, 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
    • James Beard, 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.
    • Matthew Thompson: 4.1 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 6 BB, 7 K, 1 HR, 1 WP, 35 of 76 pitches for strikes.
