Of course the White Sox's most anticipated season in 15 years opens on the West Coast ... at night. Now I understand Hawk Harrelson's seething hatred for Anaheim start times.
That gave the Sox plenty of time to finalize their roster, and they did so today. The only item of unfinished business was which player they were going to designate for assignment in order to make room for the extra off-roster player, and it turned out to be Bernardo Flores Jr., who was claimed by the Cardinals.
