Sporcle Saturday: Opening Day DHs since 19(73)

(Eric Drost/Flickr)

Hello! Welcome to another scintillating edition of Sporcle Saturday, where you can safely guess who has started at the Designated Hitter position for the White Sox since 1973, per the recommended social distancing guidelines of 6 feet or more.

Today marks the final positional quiz until next week's overarching all-positional quiz (which will likely be split into two, if not three quizzes due to Sporcle entry limits). Today, there are 47 entries for you to guess: how many can you get? Good luck!

Quiz Parameters

    • I've allotted 15 minutes for completion attempts.
    • Not really any hints for this week's quiz.

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:

    • No player has made more than four consecutive starts at Designated Hitter in franchise history.
    • Four players, though, have made four consecutive starts at the position.
    • Whenever play resumes, this will mark the seventh consecutive different DH to begin the season.
