It's a small thing, but if you read recent posts about Edwin Encarnación and Dallas Keuchel, you might have noticed photos of them in the uniforms of their most recent employers.
Or maybe you didn't notice them, but let me tell you something, friends: I sure did.
Thanks to your generous support, we have a photo service license now. We'll still use the terrific artwork provided by Billy and Carl, but now I won't have to flog them for requests in order to make posts look fresh. I remain very happy to feature their talents, of course, and I'll still use Works Progress Administration posters when relevant, because I love me some art deco. It's just satisfying when an item can shift from the It'd Sure Be Nice List to the Actually Possible Now List.
A photo license isn't the biggest development you'll see as we embark on the third year of Sox Machine, but like signing Gio Gonzalez before landing Keuchel, out-of-order improvements are improvements nevertheless. In the words of Papa John, "The day of reckoning will come" "I've had over 40 pizzas in the last 30 days" "Stay tuned."
Otherwise, what I said last year applies to this one. The only difference is that the White Sox should be shouldering more of the load when it comes to the whole enjoyment aspect of this project.
Happy New Year, everybody.
