With an Eloy Jiménez injured list stint in the works -- more on that later this morning -- the White Sox might have to call up a reserve outfielder over the next 12 to 24 hours.

Luis Robert might be ready. He opened Tuesday's game in Buffalo with a triple ...

... and then followed up with a homer later on.

Robert is batting .440/.500/.960 over his first six games at Triple-A.

    • Luis Robert went 2-for-4 with a homer, triple and strikeout.
    • Danny Mendick and Seby Zavala both walked once and struck out thrice. Mendick stole a base.
    • Yermin Mercedes was 1-for-4 with a strikeout.

Hickory 5, Kannapolis 4

    • Andrew Vaughn was 0-for-2 with a walk and an HBP.
    • Romy Gonzalez, 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Amado Nunez went 2-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Davis Martin: 7 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 HR

    • Harvin Mendoza was 1-for-4.
    • Luis Mieses, 0-for-3 with a sac fly and a strikeout.
    • Sam Abbott went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
    • Cabera Weaver, 1-for-4 with a strikeout and a stolen base.
    • Anderson Comas was 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Kleyder Sanchez singled twice, struck out twice and was caught stealing.

    • Samil Polanco went 2-for-5 with two strikeouts and a stolen base.
    • Bryan Ramos was 0-for-4.
    • Jose Rodriguez, 1-for-4 with a strikeout and a stolen base.
    • DJ Gladney singled and struck out thrice.
    • Anthony Coronado, 2-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Josue Guerrero singled twice, walked once and struck out once.
    • James Beard went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

    • Eljah Tatis recorded his first pro hit during a 1-for-4 day.
    • Wilber Sanchez replaced him and went 0-for-1.
    • Yolbert Sanchez was 3-for-5 with three doubles.
    • Benyamin Bailey went 1-for-2 with three walks.
    • Jefferson Mendoza was 2-for-5 with a homer and a strikeout.
    • Anthony Espinoz went 2-for-4 and was caught stealing.
