Before we get to today's quiz, I'd like to highlight a usability feature on Sporcle's website: the ability to turn off the countdown timer. This can only be done on Sporcle's site, not the embed below, but it's something I recently discovered and wanted to point out. I've had some folks in the past mention, due to physical limitations beyond their control, that the timer prevents them from participation.
While I lament that it took me nearly two years to notice this feature, hopefully it'll help moving forward. To change, go to the timer on the right side of the quiz, and hover your cursor over the little down arrow: that should give you the option to change to Stopwatch mode. Here's a link with directions.

As the offseason presses on (just 82 days until Opening Day!), one of the few moves the Sox have made thus far happened over a month ago when the team acquired Alex Colome from the Mariners in exchange for Omar Narvaez.
Colome will fit in nicely at the back end of the bullpen pitching from the other side of the rubber, and he gives me the opportunity to create a Sporcle based on his handed-ness. Thanks, Alex! To get to the subject of today's quiz: who has worked out of the bullpen as a right-hander for the White Sox since 1990? How many can you name? Good luck!
Quiz parameters
- Without some benchmarks, this list would have been rather unwieldy. So, to make it a bit more manageable, pitchers only qualified if 1) all their innings came in relief, and 2) they pitched at least 40 innings (for the White Sox).
- I've allotted 15 minutes, as there are 86 names.
- For hints, I've provided the season, and the number of innings pitched.
Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- The best ERA out of the bunch came in 1992, 1.65 (2.61 FIP, 236 ERA+)
- The worst ERA came in 2007, to the tune of 6.80 (4.80 FIP, 70 ERA+)
