White Sox Wake-Up Call: July 4, 2018
Good morning, and Happy Fourth. Here’s what’s in your Wake-Up Call:
- LAST NIGHT: The White Sox dug themselves out of an early hole to beat the Reds 12-8 in 12 innings. It was one of the best games of the year.
- TONIGHT: Will Jose Abreu get a real day off this time? How about the bullpen?
- ON THE FARM: White Sox affiliates go 0-for-6, although there are some bright spots.
- AROUND THE LEAGUE: The Indians now lead the AL Central by double digits, and Shohei Ohtani is back.
Listen below:
With two infield hits last night, and his first stolen base recently, does Kevan Smith get the nickname “Wheels?”
We used “Wheelz” for Paul Konerko. Perhaps it could be an honorary title.
