Last Sunday saw Yoan Moncada post a career day, driving in six runs on two hits. With those six RBI, Moncada became the 86th member of the 6-RBI club for the Sox. (If that sounds like a lot, it's not; the Yankees, for instance, have 166 players to have driven in at least 6 over their franchise history) We've covered the 7-RBI club before: 6-RBI offers many more names from which to guess; thus, at least for today, you'll only be asked to go back to 1980. Good luck!
Quiz Parameters
- I've allotted 10 minutes for completion attempts.
- For hints I've provided the date of the game and the primary defensive position of the player for that game.
Useless information to amaze, annoy, confound, and/or confuse your friends:
- The White Sox are 45-4 in games in which a player drives in at least 6 RBI.
- The only player to play center field and record 6 RBI: Ken Henderson in 1974, a 3-5 effort in a 11-7 victory over the Twins. (So keep that in your memory bank for when this Sporcle covers all of Sox franchise history)
- The highest WPA on this list was .852 (4/25/2014); the lowest: -.004 (5/16/1993).
