White Sox Wake Up Call: April 27, 2018

The Rundown:

  • White Sox improve to 6-16 on the season thanks to five home runs, two of them from Matt Davidson, as they beat the Royals 6-3.
  • Preview tonight’s matchup with Reynaldo Lopez taking the mound and including picks-to-click against Danny Duffy.
  • Dane Dunning was promoted to Birmingham and made his first start with the Barons last night. Matt Rose and Seby Zavala provided the power to help Dunning earn his first win.
  • MLB Scoreboard as the Yankees beat the Twins (again), Tigers lost in Pittsburgh, Seattle beat Cleveland which means the White Sox were the only AL Central team to win yesterday.

Sounds like there is some tentative good news on the right most honorable Lord Farquhar. Took a few short walks in ICU. Really great to hear it.

White Sox have three players in the top 10 avg exit velocity for line drives and flyballs (minimum 5 such batted balls): Davidson (2nd), Moncada (3rd), Thompson (10th). Abreu is 12th.
