    • Tyler Flowers went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk.
    • Brent Morel and Jordan Danks each went 2-for-4, with Danks doubling and striking out.
    • Dayan Viciedo went 0-for-4 with a K.
    • Clevelan Santeliz took the loss by allowing a run on three hits and two walks over five innings, striking out one.
  • Montgomery 3, Birmingham 2
    • Christian Marrero had two singles over four at-bats, and was caught stealing.
    • C.J. Retherford went 1-for-4 with an RBI.
  • Winston-Salem 2, Birmingham 1
    • Nathan Jones threw five shutout innings, although he walked more batters (4) than he struck out (3), on top of three hits.
    • Kyle Bellamy allowed a run on two hits over two innings of work, striking out two.
    • Justin Greene doubled and homered, striking out once.
    • Jon Gilmore went 2-for-4 with a double and a strikeout.
    • Brandon Short doubled and struck out over three at-bats.
  • Kannapolis 8, Asheville 1
    • Brady Shoemaker went 1-for-4.
    • Nick Ciolli singled and walked.
    • Cameron Bayne allowed a run on six hits with two strikeouts over six innings.
