White Sox prospect Colby Shelton

Colby Shelton entered this past week's series against Asheville with a .385/.558/.500 line, and he closed it out improving all three numbers.

Shelton went 11-for-23 with three homers, a triple, two doubles and four walks to three strikeouts. That's good for a .478/.571/1.043 line for the week, which raised his overall production to .429/.509/.755 overall.

The numbers he couldn't necessarily control were even more impressive, in the sense that Shelton also scored 10 runs over six games while driving in 14. If that's not enough for a South Atlantic League Player of the Week award, then I'm looking forward to seeing the body of work that beats it.
