Good morning!
Despite the mostly terrible play to start the season, the White Sox actually presented several possible options for this week's Sporcle. Among the more depressing: quizzes looking at Madduxes thanks to Sandy Alcantara, or most strikeouts by batters in a game thanks to, well, the White Sox offense on Opening Day.
But it's early in the season and so I choose optimism for the theme today. One of the bright spots thus far? Munetaka Murakami's hot dinger streak to start the season! Murakami became the first White Sox player to start his career --or even a season-- with at least one home run in three consecutive games. Of course, n=1 doesn't exactly make for a challenging quiz, so I've expanded the dataset to include any White Sox batter who has homered in four or more consecutive games. In all, there are 30 player-seasons. How many can you name? Good luck!
