The 7-4 White Sox have a chance to draw into a first-place tie with the 7-2 Giants atop the Cactus League standings ... unless the 7-3 Dodgers win, and then they'd be in first place by a half game, for those who are tracking these things (nobody should be tracking these things).
Anyway, Luisangel Acuña is back in the lineup after missing the last four games due to a cut he suffered above his left eyebrow on a slide into second, so one of the three injured outfielders has returned to action. Everson Pereira and Andrew Benintendi remain out with oblique/side issues, although Scott Merkin says that the latter is closer to a return.
Andrew Benintendi took swings yesterday and plans to do so again today. Said he would be playing if it was regular season, but no reason to rush things on March 2. He should be back after Wednesday's off-day.
