Good morning!
It was on this day in 1962 the White Sox released the leader of the 1959 AL pennant-winning rotation: Early Wynn. Wynn had three opportunities in September of the 1962 season to record win number 300, but alas it wasn't to be; while he was invited to Spring Training in 1963, he didn't make the regular season squad and ultimately reunited with his former club --the Cleveland Indians-- in June, recording number 300 on July 13 against the Kansas City Athletics. In so doing, he became the first A.L. pitcher to get to 300 since Lefty Grove did so for Boston in 1941.
The number 20 is the focus of today's Sporcle: throughout White Sox history, there have been 50 instances where a player recorded at least 20 wins with the team. Of those 50, how many can you name? Good luck!

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse and/or confound your friends and family:
- The pitcher who came closest to 20 wins in recent memory? Chris Sale, with 17 in 2016.
- Pitching to contact, or just a different era? Only six of these seasons saw the pitcher also record 200+ strikeouts that same season.
- The average triple-slash against: .246/.298/.331.
- The list's 1908 season saw 40 pitcher wins. That's second-most in a season in the modern era, behind only Jack Chesbro of the New York Highlanders (Yankees).
