White Sox Minor Keys: July 22, 2025

The White Sox's winning streak came to a halt on Tuesday, but the Birmingham Barons wouldn't be stopped.

The Barons have now won 10 games in a row after their 2-1 walk-off victory over Montgomery, and in classic 2025 Barons fashion, all the runs were scored in the ninth inning.

The game was scoreless through eight before the Biscuits took the lead in the ninth on a two-out Will Simpson single. But Sam Antonacci worked a four-pitch walk to open the ninth, then scored on Wilfred Veras' double when the throw to second bounced into the middle of the diamond, effectively winning the race home against the ball.

Veras then stole third to bring the infield in, and Colby Smelley took advantage by shooting a grounder through the right side for the walk-off winner.

Nashville 10, Charlotte 7

• Will Robertson went 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
• Bryan Ramos was 0-for-4 with two backwards K's.
• Dru Baker was 1-for-3 with a double and an HBP.
• Cam Booser: 0.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 7 of 11 pitches for strikes. Both hits were by lefties.

Birmingham 2, Montgomery 1

• Rikuu Nishida singled, walked and struck out twice. He also had two outfield assists from center field.
• William Bergolla was 1-for-3.
• Ryan Galanie and Jacob Gonzalez both were 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
• Sam Antonacci doubled twice, walked and struck out.
• Wilfred Veras doubled, singled, struck out twice and stole two bases.
• Riley Gowens: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 5 K, 61 of 92 pitches for strikes.

Winston-Salem 5, Aberdeen 1

• Samuel Zavala singled and struck out thrice.
• Jeral Perez was 0-for-4 with a walk.
• Braden Montgomery went 1-for-3 with two walks.
• T.J. McCants went 1-for-5 with a strikeout.
• Lyle Miller-Green tripled, walked twice and struck out once.
• Ryan Burrowes made his High-A debut, going 1-for-3 with a strikeout and a stolen base.
• Seth Keener made his professional relief debut in his return to Winston-Salem: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 11 of 12 pitches for strikes.

• Caleb Bonemer walked once, struck out thrice and stole a base.
• George Wolkow was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
