First Pitch

First pitch: White Sox at Blue Jays

James Fegan/Sox Machine

In the exact same tone and cadence with which Jason Segel delivered the line "I actually will not be having an alcoholic beverage this morning" in Forgetting Sarah Marshall: The White Sox actually did not make a roster move before today's game.

The Sox have not won a series in Toronto since 2019. Yonder Alonso homered in the rubber match of that series. Tim Anderson's three-run shot off Aaron Sanchez was the big blow. It was a long time ago, is what I'm trying to convey.
