It's been a rough week for White Sox prospects named Montgomery.
A few days after Braden Montgomery left a game after being drilled in the earflap, Colson Montgomery left Friday night's game in Buffalo after taking a slider directly off his kneecap.

Montgomery sat on the ground for a minute, then made an effort to walk it off before heading to the dugout, and Sergio Santos gave the umpire a brief smile when relaying the substitution, so hopefully it's just the classic got-hit-where-there's-zero-padding reaction than something that will require an IL stint.
X rays were negative on Colson Montgomery's right knee. Soreness for a couple of days per team
