About an hour before first pitch, the White Sox anthat Tony La Russa will not be managing tonight's game at the direction of his doctors, and he's scheduled to undergo further medical testing on Wednesday. Miguel Cairo will be managing in his place.
La Russa was at Guaranteed Rate Field before the game and on his normal schedule. He held his usual media session and was seen talking to Rick Hahn during batting practice.
