White Sox Minor Keys: July 23, 2022

The White Sox agreed to terms with first-round pick Noah Schultz on Saturday, and the cost of luring him away from his commitment to Vanderbilt amounts to a small rounding error.

He signed for $2.8 million, slightly above the 26th pick's slot value of $2,789,400. Whatever signability concerns were probably more rooted in where he was expected to go in the second round.
