Sox are in contention mode and I know MLB doesn’t allow draft trades, but should the Sox draft for trade capital or to build their own farm system? I know it can be both but is it allowed to have a handshake agreement to draft for other teams?
Jim and Greg Nix and James Fegan (?) had a short conversation about this on Twitter and I would like to hear a fuller discussion about the coming-off-the-bag-for-an-amount-of-time-that-only-be-perceived-via-replay rule.
I'm very concerned about Grandall being cooked. His framing numbers are down, his defense seems really off and his hitting is...???? Is there something in the underlying numbers that say he's not playing as bad as it looks? Should Collins start taking a larger share of the starts?
In what order will these guys finish in the ROY voting: Mercedes, Madrigal, Vaughn, Kopech? I can see all 4 getting votes.
