According to the not-always-reliable Dominican Summer League box score, Yolbert Sanchez made his pro debut on Tuesday. There's a chance it might not be him, if only because Wilber Sanchez had played 20 games at short before Yolbert arrived.

But if we're to assume it is, there's reason to assume. While Yolbert Sanchez is 22, which is about the age for a decent Carolina League prospect, he might be following the Luis Robert path. Robert hung out in the DSL for his first year in pro ball for tax purposes, and while Sanchez only signed for less than one-tenth of Robert's $26 million, that might make the money saved all the more vital.
