What’s Mark Buehrle doing these days?
Hope the Sox stay in-house, with one lower cost FA, on pitching this offseason. Cycle through Kopech, Cease, Giolito, Lopez and 3rd tier FA, while using the first half to see what you may get from Rodon, Dunning and whomever else could miraculously come along.
Use the offseason FA $’s on offense. Use the 2020 trade deadline on pitching, if it ends up being needed.
Hopefully the Sox start calling up young arms to see how they handle pressure, on the offensives side, they are close. They need to stop playing to the other team strength and start playing to their. How many more RBI would Abreu have if Anderson and Moncada were always in front of him in the lineup? How can you use a cleanup hitters that gets more walks then hits?
