PREAMBLE
Chris Getz has been abruptly fired and I have taken over. I won't be sentimental about 2026 and an 84 win team, that's for sure.
ARBITRATION-ELIGIBLE PLAYERS
- Miguel Vargas: Tender
- Brenton Doyle: Tender
- Joey Bart: Non-tender
- Huascar Brazobán: Non-tender
- Jordan Leasure: Non-tender
- Chris Murphy: Non-tender
Bart, Brazoban, Leasure, and Murphy are gone. If you didn't contribute in 2026, why on earth would I bring you back?
OTHER IMPENDING FREE AGENTS
- None
I don't want any of them back. We're going to get even younger, hungrier, and better. Teams that don't take chances watch the World Series from home.
FREE AGENTS
Adrian Morejon (my new closer): 4 years, 64 million dollars.
Luis Arraez (my new DH who won't strikeout 100 times in the playoffs): 3 years, 45 million dollars.
