White Sox prospect Jacob Gonzalez

If you like your White Sox Minor Keys with a heaping helping of power-hitting exploits, then it doesn't get much better than Thursday.

*Jacob Gonzalez hit three homers over 1½ games -- one during the completion of Wednesday's suspended game, then two during a 4-for-4 nightcap. Truist Field's dimensions only enabled one of them:

  1. 108.5 mph, 440 feet
  2. 96.3 mph, 381 feet
  3. 103.3 mph, 422 feet

Gonzalez is now hitting .308/.414/.646, and his underyling metrics are equally noteworthy.

*Braden Montgomery went opposite field for a grand slam preceding Gonzalez's final homer. All three of his homers have been to left field from the left side of the plate.

*Anthony DePino erased the aftertaste of the Barons' 23-4 loss at Rickwood Field on Wednesday with a three-run walk-off homer in the 10th inning, leaving no doubt about the final destination of this hanging slider:
