Bring back the San Francisco Seals

The White Sox had gone an entire week without making a change to their major league roster, but that streak came to an end this afternoon when they swapped Jordans. Jordan Hicks is going to the injured list with a right lat strain, and Jordan Leasure is coming up from Charlotte to take his place.

Leasure pitched well with the Knights after his demotion earlier this month, posting a line of 4.1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K over four appearances. Most importantly, he avoided giving up a homer after yielding five over 16⅓ major league innings. After opening the season as one of Will Venable's high-leverage righties, replacing Hicks and his 19.5 percent walk rate gives Leasure a much more forgiving re-entry point.

In other injury news, Jarred Kelenic stuck in the lineup this time after being a late scratch from Friday's game with a back contusion.

In news that isn't about an injury, Bryan Hudson is opening, with Erick Fedde in line to be the bulk boy.
