PREAMBLE
The White Sox still suck but they can improve in the pitching category in free agency greatly. My mindset is to keep it cheap and keep have it make sense.
COACHING STAFF
- Hitting coach: Venable's choice
- Pitching coach: Bannister's choice
ARBITRATION-ELIGIBLE PLAYERS
- Mike Tauchman: Tender
- Steven Wilson: Tender
- Derek Hill: Non-tender
Hopefully flip them at the deadline and get their options because they are relatively cheap.
CLUB OPTIONS
- Luis Robert Jr.: Exercise $20 million contract
- Martín Perez: Buy out for $1.5 million
Flip Robert at the deadline hopefully and don’t need Perez he costs too much

TRADES
Trade Lenyn Sosa to the Los Angeles Angels for : Nelson Rada OF ( A contact first speed OF prospect), Matthew Lugo OF ( Rookie OF who will be just a guy), and Jack Kochanowicz RHP (Young RHP, throws 95-97 project pitcher could end up in the bullpen).
Trade Korey Lee to the San Diego Padres for : Francis Pena RHP (Good stuff bad control project pitcher)
SUMMARY
Offense roster ; Benny, Lugo, Robert, Tauchman, Vargas, Colson, Meidroth, Antonacci, Ohearn, Mead, Baldwin, Teel, and Quero.
It was very difficult choosing the 13th man it was between Antonacci, Ramos and ultimately the choice was Antonacci because he has had a stellar AFL and hopefully continues through Camp.
Pitching Roster; Shane, Davis, Burke, May, McDougal, Taylor, Leasure, Vasil, Mackenzie, Chafin, Diaz, Pallette, and Kochanwicz.
The pitching was fairly easy to decide besides the 5th starting rotation spot inevitably I gave the spot to McDougal but it was very close between Mackenzie and Kochanwicz.
To conclude, I thought I was going to be end up under the 90 million dollar threshold but I come shy by a decent amount. My salary to end the 2026 year would be $97.1 million dollar payroll. But, the thought process is that at the end of the deadline that Robert, Benny, and the bullpen guys that I signed are to be dealt for prospects. The position for the White Sox is to end up near .500 as much as possible in the following offseason I am hoping that the Ishbia cash infusions will help Getz spend money next offseason.
