The White Sox's four full-season affiliates returned from the All-Star break with a number of promotions, with more to come. Here's a quick rundown of the notable transactions in advance of Friday's slate:
Charlotte Knights
- Activated Blake Sabol
- Received Noah Syndergaard from the ACL White Sox
Along with Noah Schultz, Syndergaard gives Sergio Santos two starting pitchers he can deploy like actual starters. Pitching in a Statcast park will give us a better idea of what Syndergaard has left in the tank.
Birmingham Barons
- Received Sam Antonacci from Winston-Salem
- Received Tyler Schweitzer from Charlotte
Antonacci earned his promotion by hitting .280/.426/.413 with the Dash, while Schweitzer returns to Birmingham, apparently to get stretched back out into a rotation spot.
Winston-Salem Dash
- Received Lyle Miller-Green from Kannapolis
- Received T.J. McCants from Kannapolis
- Received Seth Keener from Kannapolis
- Received Connor McCullough from the ACL (rehab stint)
- Received Jarold Rosado from Birmingham
Keener is back to give High-A another shot, while Miller-Green and McCants will be making their debuts. McCants only spent 29 games with the Ballers, hitting .306/.409/.417 after opening the season in the ACL.
Kannapolis Cannon Ballers
- Received Mathias LaCombe from the ACL White Sox
LaCombe wrapped up his Complex League career by allowing just three runs and 20 baserunners over his last 20 ⅔ innings while striking out 25. After seeing clips of him here and there from Arizona, it'll be fun to see what he looks like wending his way through an entire inning, and even an outing.

ACL Cubs 4, ACL White Sox 2
