Some good pitching up and down the system. It’s a credit to Chris Getz.
Nastrini and Leisure being good in AAA on the same night Lynn gets bombed is a small small small little feeling of joy in whats been a horrific season, month, week, etc
I’m pretty sure Nastrini and Leasure will be on the major league roster next year. And we fired the guy who made that trade?
Bring back Hahn!
Article in Fangraphs today pouring a bit of cold water on Montgomery.
That he does not belong at SS long term seems a common view outside the organization
Does he move to 2nd or 3rd though (or OF I guess)? slow feet and a below avg arm isn’t an ideal fit for either and he’ll need to show more power to man 3B comfortably. I’m not looking to trade him but if he won’t stick at SS then he’s not untouchable.
Other prospect evaluators think he sticks at SS for a while. 3B is where they think he shits, if needed. But OF could work too.
If he ends up shitting at 3b that would just be SO white sox
