Foulkelore

La Pantera!

Trooper Galactus

Be nice if Anderson would get in base in front of Robert when he’s on a hot streak like this.

Foulkelore

Yeah, not great that the 1 and 2 hitters today have OBPs that start with 2.

Trooper Galactus

Interesting that Sheets lined out to the third baseman, though. He should probably stop attacking the opposite field and just pull the damn ball in the air.

Trooper Galactus

Close.

Sheets’s first ab he hit the ball to the third baseman with EV 102.4 mph and xBA 0.610.

His second ab he hit the ball to the right fielder with EV 102.2 mph and xBA 0.440.

He’s right on Michael Grove but has been unlucky. If he keeps hitting line drives that hard, he can pull it or go the other way as far as I’m concerned.

Good point, the larger issue is he just rarely gets optimal launch angles.

Agree completely. Like many Sox batters, he would benefit from facing Michael Grove more often.

Trooper Galactus

See? Nice!

Trooper Galactus

Healthy Eloy is such a sight to behold.

a-t

Well, that’s a nice way to a greet a pitcher who is prone to the long ball

As Cirensica

This game looks fun

Adam

Mashing a bad righty!! Ok….this is nice. Plus 20 pitches. Let’s club this guy and get to that pen

Trooper Galactus

Burger and Robert just jockeying for that outfit.

Foulkelore

The 3-4-5 hitters all with home runs. I could get used to that.

Foulkelore

The 3-4-5-6 hitters all with home runs. I could get used to that.

a-t

The Dodgers are gonna be glad to watch Burger leave town, lol

As Cirensica

Moncada can take his sweet time to recover. I am not gonna make a fuss if they move him to the 60 days IL

Trooper Galactus

White Sox getting all the home runs outta their systems here.

Adam

Lady in the front row made a phenomenal catch

ecivokrak

Yeah, I had to watch that one on replay again. It was a rope, and she probably saved someone to the left of her from injury.

BillyKochFanClub

We’re totally getting Grove in an Anderson trade. Book it.

Foulkelore

That popup was new. I’ve never seen that before.

a-t

Lol what are you doing there Yaz

Foulkelore

Maybe he’s trying to help Cease’s strikeout total?

Adam

The look on his face was priceless

a-t

If Yaz catches that goddamn pop-up, none of these score.

a-t

Thanks Reynaldo, very cool! Great choice of fireman reliever Grifol 👍

BillyKochFanClub

Lopez has got it covered

Denman

What happened to our “lock down” bullpen???

Foulkelore

Wow, bad TOOTBLAN by Elvis

Denman

Yeah, Elvis, the most experienced position player in our line-up, and he gets picked off at third when he’s the lead run?????

Foulkelore

With Eloy up too. It’s not like, well, Elvis, was up while Elvis was on third.

OldMMJ87

I’m sorry, I just saw Elvis Andrus was picked off third with two outs? Did I see that right? He was picked off third?

Adam

Just like the Leury play in Colorado last year. We replaced Leury with Leury

Foulkelore

Yep, he fell for the Little League “fake throw to second, throw to third” by the catcher on Robert stealing 2nd.

Adam

I don’t understand warming up Bummer with Freeman and Heyward coming to not use him.

Adam

Good news, reinforcements coming. We just got Wong from Seattle. Not Kolten of course but his brother Kean.

Joliet Orange Sox

Seems fine. With Remillard up, Kean Wong can help fill the roster in Charlotte.

Kolten has a OPS+ of 24 this year so I’m not disappointed the Sox did not get him.

Foulkelore

Kolten is almost a win below replacement this year, and Kean is not a major league player. Seattle found out that two Wongs do not make a right. I’m sorry. It’s late.

Adam

This got a hearty chuckle over here. Nice work

Augusto Barojas

Yoke of the year. You got a laugh from me as well, thank you

Trooper Galactus

Like the White Sox, that’s a bad joke and we’re all here for it.

Adam

Given Roberts numbers with men on base vs empty, im thinking he’s the real answer at leadoff. Plus more at bats to hit the solo homers

a-t

Best I’ve seen Bummer look in a minute. Velo up, command vastly better.

dsbatt

He didn’t have a lot of pitches. He should have been out there for the 11th.

This game is clearly where an inferior manager heavily contributed to a loss. Terrible again at managing a pitching staff.

a-t

Reynaldo as fireman blew this game very throughly

Denman

Can we please get the Manfred man in from 2nd so we at least have a chance to salvage a game we should have easily won?

Denman

I guess not.

Denman

Burger, two true outcomes: Home Run or Strikeout.

Trooper Galactus

I liked Crochet a lot better when he was throwing 102 mph.

Foulkelore

He probably shouldn’t be throwing 93 mph.

Trooper Galactus

He probably shouldn’t be throwing, period.

a-t

92 now. Dropping more and more… don’t like that

Augusto Barojas

Good thing it was the 11th in a tie game. He might have given up 6 runs in a full inning.

StockroomSnail

Did his butt triple in size? He looks way more swoll than I remember.
