Writing about the White Sox for a 16th season, first here, then at South Side Sox, and now here again. Let’s talk curling.
These instances where they have bases loaded, 1 out and don’t score are brutal. And way too frequent.
Coming into this game, they were .225/.263/.324 (.587 OPS) as a team with the bases loaded. That is simply putrid.
Moncada has been looking better at 3rd the last few games. His bat as well and great to see.
We are making contact so maybe this is one of those nights where they connect the hits and put up a crooked number.
He is fun to watch when on.
There was a Cubs pitcher many years ago named Hippo Vaughn. That’s a contender for Andrew Vaughn’s nickname.
Ignore. My King Hippo gif didn’t embed.
Why Lambert in that situation and not Lopez?
I was ok with Lambert. I was going to lose it if they brought in Ruiz though (he was warming in the 5th).
That’s a heck of a 3-6-3 started by Abreu.
Maybe Jose can take over 2b?
Some of the best defensive play of the year tonight
Not at all loving the visibly decreased velo and more hittable Liam.
Whew, that wasn’t pretty, but he got it done.
