Kopech has been sitting 95, was 96-98 in New York.
He’s been sitting 95 most of the season and ramps up 97-98 when he needs it. I think he was just amped for the Yanks
We may not win this game, but I’m going to count tonight’s batting order as a victory.

This is just painful. Feels like a long losing streak coming up.
Kopeck no mystery and no control tonight. Man, we seem to hit teams when they are red hot: Yankees, Red Sox and now the Jays.
It’s also a pretty front-loaded schedule for the Sox this year by quality. Good teams are gonna be hot more often than bad ones.
Also, to be fair, we swept the Red Sox when they were ice-cold right before their bats woke up.
Weren’t Giolito and Kopech supposed to pitch well enough to give our ailing offense a chance? If those two don’t toss at least a quality start, we’re sunk.
